Happy Valentine's Day, beautiful people!  I hope everyone is enjoying their day.  As for me, I'm doing exactly what I said I would be doing and boy am I enjoying it.  Mike had to work today so it's just me, my laptop, and Jane the Virgin.  Do you guys watch that show?  If you don't, you should.  I have to say, Gina Rodriguez truly is amazing.  She really won me over with her Golden Globes speech.   Anyway, back to Valentines Day.  We talked a little on reds and pinks for Valentine's Day but some might think "cliche" (for the record, not me.)  If you're one of those people, this outfit is for you.  Burgundy and black with a pop of pink!

Has there ever been a trend that you said that you would never try?  Well, mine were culottes.  I saw these hanging on the rack at a Marshall's in Florida.  At first I thought they were those cute flowy pants that I love so much but when I pulled them off the rack they obviously weren't.  I said wth, for $12 I should try them on anyway.  And guess what? I love them.  Surprise!  Look what happens when you leave your comfort end up liking something.  I can already think of a few other ways I can wear these...especially in a few months when it's warmer out and I have more of a tan.  (I said it before anyone else tries to point that out lol.)

Since my outfit is mostly made up of dark colors, I added this mauve-y pink suede bag to play up the burgundy.  I just purchased this bag for $13 at Zara.  So if you like it buy it right now because with that price it won't be there for long!  Now that I think of it, this entire outfit cost me less then $50!  With the exception of these booties which are old so they don't count.  I actually like that idea, outfits under $50, $100, etc. Let me know if you guys would be interested in more posts like that!

So what are you feelings on this trend and how would you rock 'em?  Tell me, I wanna know!  I also wanted to share some great news.  My cousin Janise finally started her YouTube channel, Beauty Vibes with Janise.  Make sure you go and check that out!  Off to bake some cookies for my love!  Hope everyone is having a great Valentine's Day!
