I love this basic jumpsuit that I bought at Forever 21. My co-workers, students, and just random strangers complimented it saying how much they loved it, too. I found that so funny being that I only bought it to have in the closet for those days that "I just can't".
So, did you notice that I'm not wearing any black? I knooow! Crazy, right? A monochromatic look is a good way to keep things uniform without thinking too hard. I added this little red cross-body bag as an unexpected pop of color against all the blue. You don't really expect to be cold during the summer but mother nature does have her days. A scarf is a light alternative to a jacket and doubles as a blanket when you get "the itis" after breakfast and need a nap.
Speaking of breakfast - not sure if I've mentioned this before but breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day. I'm sure it has something to do with my mom always making a big deal about it (but more on that in another post.) The point of me saying all of that is that you have to try this place called Antoinette's Patisserie. It's this cozy little European-inspired cafe tucked away in the village of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. I had an omelet that was delicious but my cousin had the french toast and it was incredible - next time I'm having that!
