Happy New Year!

Good bye 2016!  I have welcomed 2017 with open arms!  I hope everyone's' new year started off amazing.  Mine sure did!  I took an unexpected break from everything to just enjoy the holidays and time with my family.  I had ten days off of work so I had plenty of time to do that.  The highlight of the week was surprising Mike's mom in North Carolina.  We had been planning it for about a month and the plan worked out seamlessly.  We literally showed up at her door Christmas morning like "surprise"!  It was priceless.  For New Year's Eve, I spent it at my aunt and uncles house.  We laughed, we cried, we danced and played games - it was the best way to start off 2017.

Of course, we couldn't start off the new year without highlighting some of my favorite looks of 2016.  The quote in the first pic is going to set the tone for the rest of my year.  "Happiness can be found in the smallest things.  It is your passion to transform your everyday routines into more meaningful rituals..."   Make sure you click on the picture for the full post!

I know the last time I promised a holiday capsule wardrobe.  Like I said before, I just wasn't planning to go offline for the holidays.  Sorry about that!  How does a winter capsule wardrobe sound instead?  Let me know in the comments below.  Lots and lots of outfit post coming up within the next few days.  Any special request?  I'm excited to start off this year with a bang!

xoxo,
