Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Not only is it Thanksgiving, but it's also my two year bloggerversary! TWO YEARS, you guys! Time goes by so fast! I remember when I finally decided to sit down and write my first post. I've grown so much since then. I originally had a big special photo sesh planned for this day but I got sick and things sort of got thrown off course. So today (like last year), I went back exactly one year to this blog post.
I went to the the lower east side to take these photos, one of my favorite neighborhoods in NYC. I remember it like it was yesterday because I woke up that morning and called out of work. Not because I was sick (unless you count sick of my job) but because I was over it and I wanted to enjoy my day. And that I did! That was the day I decided that I was going to do everything in my power to find a new job. Which leads me to the first thing I'm thankful for! I am so thankful for my new job. Never in a million years would I have thought I could get so lucky. Not only do I love my job, but I work with the most incredible staff. I'm so lucky to be able to walk into work every day with a grateful heart. Secondly, I'm thankful to have a roof over my head. I can't tell you how happy I am to have a home to go to at the end of the day. A lot of people don't have that luxury. I love my apartment, I love my neighborhood, and I love the person I share it with. My lovely fiance. I'm am beyond thankful for him. Just when I think I can't fall more in love, I do. If I tell you all the reasons why this post will never end. And lastly, I am thankful for my readers. Thank you for sticking by me these past two years. You guys are the best!
Again, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Tell me what you're thankful for in the comments below :)
