Ever notice the difference in your skin during the winter season? Your face is dry, your lips are dry, your body is...you guessed it...dry. Very annoying, I know. But it is fairly common and usually happens when the humidity level outside drops. When the weather outside is cold and dry, the water in your skin evaporates much quicker; which causes your skin to dry, flake, and chap. I know first hand how uncomfortable that can be so it is important to find the right skin regimen for you. Below I'm sharing the one that work best for me (in no particular order).
I"m not going to go into full detail but just to elaborate on a few. I usually wash my face with Cetaphil Face Wash, but once a week I use the St. Ives Scrub to exfoliate. I find that it helps with any dry patches that may come about. I don't typically suffer from dry skin on my face and body but I try my best to avoid it. I do suffer from winter eczema on my hands and the ultimate lifesaver is (again!) Cetaphil Eczema Calming Lotion. It is the only thing that relieves the dry skin and itchiness. The Olay Regenerist and Blistex Medicated Ointment go hand and hand. I used them both right before I go to bed that way my skin soaks up all the benefits while I get my beauty sleep.
Now that I've shared my winter regiment, share yours!
