I loooooove Miranda Kerr's personal style! Maybe it's because our way of dressing is so similar but I swear, I've never seen her wear anything that I didn't like. She is effortless - but most importantly, she is chic. One thing that her and I have in common - we are not too trendy - but always add that extra spark of interest. Whether it be a pop of color in a bag, a statement piece of clothing or a patterned shoe. It's all about simplicity at it's best. Like the photo above: low-cut black blouse to balance the patterned pencil skirt (her statement piece) and simple black accessories to compliment the rest of the outfit. Today, I'm here to show you the elements in which make an otherwise simple outfit POP.
Here she is wearing a monochromatic outfit - blue denim in similar but different washes - they go well together without being too matchy matchy. In this case, her leopard sandals are the statement piece and her black bag and matching shades bring the rest of the look together.
Leopard, again! Here she is rocking' two statements pieces but the rest of her look is so low-key that you almost don't even notice. I love the way her yellow bag stands out but does not complete with her leopard blouse. I would wear this for a "casual Friday" at work. What do you think?
Here, her black & white tweed jacket layered over her black & white patterned shirt give her top half some depth and interest - while her blue jeans and red pumps give her a pop of color. I love the frayed edges at the bottom of her jeans. It makes the outfit look more edgy and less prim and proper.
Ahhh - an almost all black outfit. Can anyone tell me what her statement piece is? Let me know in the comments below!
Hope everyone is having a great week so far!
