Have you guys tried this stuff? I'm late but better late then never! I have the same typical issue most women have - chipped nails. I'm lucky if my nails last more then two days. It's frustrating, especially after you paid $8 for manicure that won't last. That's the main reason why a lot of women started dishing out the extra money for the pricy salon gel manicures. They look more natural then acrylic but last much longer then regular enamel.
It took me awhile to jump on the "gel manicure band wagon" but when I did I wasn't that impressed. It looked natural and lasted longer but the damage it caused to my nail beds were hard to repair. Not to mention the $50 (not including tip) that I paid for both manicure and pedicure. This is just from personal experience. This may not be the case with everyone.
That being said, I was in CVS the other day and decided to try the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel. It's inexpensive and quickly dries to a hard finish with no UV light. It claims to last up to fourteen days but for me it lasted about seven. Seven days is better then two! Wondering how you remove it? With regular nail polish remover! No soaking your nails in acetone. I bought it in the color Truffle Shuffle and plan on buying some more.
Have you tried these polishes? Any suggestions on what colors I should try next? Let me know in the comments below! If you haven't tried these yet, you're welcome (in advance) because you will be running to buy them after this post! ;)
xoxo,
Francheska
