Hi guys! So sorry about the radio silence here this past week. So much has been going on with the holidays just around the corner. I really needed a break from it all, especially to enjoy this beautiful weather we've been having lately. I had the best weekend. I can't wait to tell you all about it. But first things first, how bright and merry is my cozy red sweater? Isn't Christmas so much fun?! Seriously, I'm such a holiday fanatic.
As cliche as it may be, I just love wearing red around this time of year. It just screams Christmas spirit and I'm all about that. It was in the 60's on Sunday, so this outfit was perfect for walking around the city. Not only is this sweater warm, but its also extremely soft! I kept the rest of the look simple with black stirrups leggings and lace-up flats. These flats remind me of the shoes I had to wear for dance class as a kid. I'll never forget the first day of class when the teacher told me to dance and stop worrying about dirtying my shoes. Needless to say, I haven't changed much since then. Anyway, if you're looking to snatch up a pair of these flats for yourselves, get on that - they have been selling out everywhere! This is my ideal Christmas Day outfit. I usually spend the day running around with all the littles in my family so I always try to wear something with them in mind.
Soooo about my weekend! Saturday I just cleaned and lounged all day so I'll spare you the details (even though a day like that is exactly what I needed!). Sunday, my cousins and I took a ride to the city to check out the Museum of Feelings. If you follow me on Snapchat (xoxoFrancheska), you saw how that went. After two minutes of us standing in line, we were told that they reached capacity and weren't accepting anymore people. Just imagine how we were feeling then! Total bummer, right? Nope! We ended up waiting in a much shorter line to go (free!) silent clubbing and had the best time. Way more fun then waiting in line for five hours. Yup, I said FIVE HOURS! It turned out to be a much better day than planned. When life hands you lemons, well, you know the saying, right?
So what are your thoughts on silent clubbing? Would you try it? It never interested me much before, but now I would recommend it for you to try it at least once. Especially if you're looking to lighten the mood. Who would have thought? Don't knock it until you try it!
