I really believe that "a Sunday well spent brings a week of content" so what better way to spend my Sunday then with my mommy dearest at one of our favorite places. Barnes and Nobles is our spot! We sit and talk for hours while drinking our lattes and browsing through books. This has been a tradition of ours for as long as I can remember. It really was the perfect beginning for the week ahead of us!
Ok, so this is my usual winter attire when I'm out and about. It's all about comfort and let me tell you, this color block sweater is beyond comfy and super warm! It seems like I'm always in black so the red in the sweater really brings in some much needed color. Not to mention, red is my favorite color. Who would have thought with all the black that I own? (I know, such a New Yorker.) Chunky knits are my go to and the ribbed finish on this one really gives it that extra something to make it stand out from the sea of sweaters that I already own. I finished the look off with a pair of faded jeans, flat black booties, and a black and white striped duffel bag. I wore gold jewelry to compliment the gold hardware on my jeans, bag, and booties which is what I think pulled the whole outfit together.
I hope you guys enjoyed this look! The hardest day of the week is over and I'm glad! Tuesday's are usually slow at work so I just might get a chance to breathe tomorrow. (Let's hope!) I almost forgot- if you are in search of a good book on fashion, Refinery 29's Style Stalking is a great choice. I will definitely be adding it to my collection very soon.
Sweet dreams, darlings!
