Yesterday morning I woke up to a beautiful blanket of snow. Although I was tempted to stay inside and hide all weekend, I got dressed and took a walk around my neighborhood to take in the beauty around me. You have to enjoy it while you can before it turns into slush and gets shoveled away. The weather was mild considering that it's almost February, so I just threw on this gray sweater, a tweed jacket, and my beloved blanket scarf (last seen on my first post). I wish I would have taken a full body picture of myself with it on because it really is beautiful. I bought it out on a whim one day while I was out and about. I didn't expect to be out for long when the temperatures dropped. I ran into Burlington Coat Factory and found this houndstooth beauty. I get tons of compliments every time I wear it and people never believe me when I say that I only spent $20!
I've been wearing this Zara sweater non-stop. I love the slit on the side; it's the small details that sometimes make all the difference. These are the Ann Taylor faux leather leggings I was telling you guys about. It's no wonder why they are Refinery 29's pick. I can already tell that they will be on constant rotation for the rest of winter and into spring so get used to them! You will be seeing them a lot on my blog. Now these Givenchy boots! I LOVE THEM!! They are rain boots, but I swear I can get away with wearing them even on a day that's not raining. That's how chic they are, don't you agree? I love the black on black and minimal chain detail. Again, it's the little things that make a big impact.

After my walk, I went home to have my coffee and catch up on some reading. Read this book whether you're a J.Lo fan or not. I appreciate her honesty and for her first book, I think she did amazing. And I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan. I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing weekend! I know I did. :)
