What I'm Loving: Blazers

We are reaching the end of August - can you believe it?  If you try shopping for anything summer related in stores you will mostly be out of luck.  All the Fall merchandise has starting rolling in which now is a good reason to start shopping for transitional pieces.  Blazers make fall outfit planning so much easier.  They have quickly become more of a closet staple over the years.  With so many options to choose from, you will be sure to find something that suits you.  Bright, neutral, and tweed - here are six of my favorites.

  1. FREE PEOPLE STRUCTURED WASHED BLAZER: Love the color, distressed trim, and the exposed bronze buttons.  This military style blazer is definitely worth the investment.
  2. SINGLE BREASTED PINSTRIPE BLAZER: Just a classic single-breasted pinstripe blazer to have in your closet.  This would look great over jeans or a skirt.
  3. PRINCE OF WALES BLAZER: Love, love, love this menswear inspired blazer.  I would wear this over classic blue skinny jeans and OTK boots.
  4. TAILORED DOUBLE BREASTED MUSTARD BLAZER: Another great color for fall and I love the longer fit.
  5. MICHEL KNIT BLAZER : I seem to be gravitating more towards navy instead of black for fall.  Kind of weird since I'm always in black but I guess it is a good thing!
  6. BOUCLE BOYFRIEND BLAZER: And of course, a lighter neutral in a boyfriend fit.  I love that the sleeves are easy to roll up.

What are some of your favorite transitional pieces for fall?

National Thrift Shop Day

National Thrift Shop Day is today and I'm really sad I won't be able to shop in honor of it.  Not that I need an excuse to shop but if I did, this would be a really good one.

I'm pretty sure most of you know what a thrift shop is-  but just in case - it's basically a type of resale shop that sells used goods. If you're really lucky, you end up with something brand new.  Usually thrift shops build their inventory off of donations (like Goodwill) but there are some (like Beacon's Closet) that buy used clothing, shoes, or accessories.  You rarely ever get back what you paid for an item but hey, something is something. I don't go "thrifting" as much as I would like to but when I do, I always find something worth buying. Today I'm sharing with you a couple of of my favorites as well as others I intend on visiting soon.

  • BEACON'S CLOSET: This one is possibly one of my favorites.  I say that because I've been to two different locations multiple times and always find something.  They conveniently have multiple locations (three in Brooklyn and one in Manhattan).  I love who they are and what they stand for.  The founder, Carrie Peterson, has a great come-up story.  Best part, you can even shop online.
  • BUFFALO EXCHANGE: Located in the East Village, this buy-sell-trade clothing shop is definitely worth a shot - especially if you're already in the area.  I've gone and found some great designer stuff for almost nothing.  I love that they aren't too picky with what you sell to them, either.  They are more then happy to except things from Forever 21, H&M, etc. with no problem.
  • L TRAIN VINTAGE: I have never been to this one but apparently they have the best 80's/90's vintage around.  Nothing designer - think classic Levi's for cheap.
  • RePOP: This is another one that I've been meaning to visit but it has nothing to do with clothing!  RePop sells vintage furniture and other home goods. I'm especially interested in the lighting and vintage signs that I heard they had.  All items are for sale or rental which is kind of cool.

Are you a big thrifter?  If so, what are some of you favorite thrift shops?

Good morning!  I hope this morning you wake up eager to start this Monday off great.  Grab your coffee, go for a run, or simply put on some lipstick (hey, works for me)!  Do what ever you have to do to make sure that your Monday and your week gets off at a good start.

And on that note, happy Monday!

What I'm Loving: Fall Essentials

I know it seems a little too soon to be talking about fall fashion but the reality is it's coming sooner than later.  As much as fall is my favorite season, I'm still not ready to let go of summer. But with the drop in temperatures lately, you can't help but think ahead.  For sure my list from here will continue to grow but as of now, this is what I've been wanting.

  1. GREEN LEATHER JACKET: This is an obvious fall staple and to say that I am obsessed with this leather jacket is an understatement.  I already have one in black but I think its time to upgrade to t his dark green number.
  2. RED LEATHER JACKET: I love it so much, I want it in red, too.  I usually tend to stick to neutrals (black, brown, cognac, etc.) but for some reason, these two colors are really catching my eye.
  3. DENIM JACKET: I already have one but its a few years old and I could use another one in a more oversized fit.  This one from Mango doesn't seem to look like it will swallow me up (a common problem I have with oversized items).
  4. SUNGLASSES: God knows I have enough but an all black pair in a true cat-eye shape is an everyday accessory I can't live without.  It'll go with everything and kind of seem mysterious, don't you think?  These with the green leather jacket...yes!
  5. NAVY BOOTIES: You can never have too many booties come fall!  I have an old pair of navy lace-up booties but I'm not sure they will last another season after this.  These would be a great replacement!
  6. BLUE JEANS: Because I live in them come fall!  Jeans are my favorite article of clothing for so many reasons.  I need a pair of true blue classic jeans that go with everything.  I literally just created an entire outfit.
  7. OVERSIZED CARDIGAN: I love a good oversized cardigan come fall.  The bell sleeves on this one gives it a unique twist.

What are some of your call essentials?

Gingham

Now, I never thought I would be someone to wear this pattern.  Gingham?  I like it but it's not really something I gravitated towards.  I always thought that gingham should be left to porcelain dolls and children under the age ten. But the more I saw it on blogs and fashion magazines, the more intrigued I became with the pattern. I was looking for dresses for work one day when I came across this gingham shift dress from Asos.  The pattern caught my eye and I loved the loose, semi-slouchy style.  I thought - perfect for work!  When I received the dress in the mail and tried it on, I still was not convinced.  So I sent it to my fashion confidante, my mom.

WAREHOUSE GINGHAM POPPER DRESS | ZARA PEARL AND STUD SANDALS (SOLD OUT) | ZARA SNAKE CROSS-BODY BAG (OLD) | AMERICAN EAGLE HOOP EARRINGS | RIMMEL LONDON LASTING FINISH LIPSTICK IN BOHO NUDE

WAREHOUSE GINGHAM POPPER DRESS | ZARA PEARL AND STUD SANDALS (SOLD OUT) | ZARA SNAKE CROSS-BODY BAG (OLD) | AMERICAN EAGLE HOOP EARRINGS | RIMMEL LONDON LASTING FINISH LIPSTICK IN BOHO NUDE

She, of course, loved it - which had me convinced enough.  But then she sent me a throw back picture (see here) in an almost identical outfit and I was sold.  Like mother, like daughter - thirty plus years later.  What's not to love?  Thanks, Mami!  Another great mother/daughter fashion moment for the books!  And if you're reading this, I love you! :)

10 Ways to Simplify Your Life

.  So, how many of you would say that you live simple lives?  You wake up in the morning to one alarm, stroll over to the bathroom for your nice, long, warm shower, and you still have 30 min to spare.  That must be when you decide to sit down and enjoy a nice cup of coffee while watching the morning news.  Psst...yeah right.  If that's what your morning looks like every day kudos to you because most mornings mine is a blur of a routine.  What does a "blur" of a routine mean?  I rush through the same routine every single day.  Mine goes a little something like this: After pressing snooze for the fourth time, I jump out of bed and speed walk to the bathroom.  I brush my teeth and take a super quick bath.  I've mastered hair and makeup to be under fifteen minutes and in between all of that I sip my coffee.  I'm a mess in the morning and that's just the beginning.

It is a known fact that when you start your mornings off hectic, (most of the time) your days continue on that route.  Within the last couple of months, I have really been trying my best to make my life easier for myself.  Of course, I have had my days where I would fall into the same hectic routine.  It's just that now I know how great it feels to start my mornings off right so its easier to get back into the (new) swing of things.  Here are ten things I have been doing to make my mornings and my life much easier.

  1. Start your day off right: I'm still not opposed to multiple alarms.  Right now I cut it down to two - ok, no, three.  But hear me out.  I put one for 5:50 am to wake up but I don't jump out of bed.  I lay there for about half hour to wake up, stretch, or just think.  I allow my mind and body to wake up the same way I would let it unwind at the end of the day before bed.  The next alarm goes off at 6:20 am and that's when I get up and begin my usual morning routine. You have no idea how much this has changed my mornings.
  2. Simplify your routine:  Prep the night before.  Choose what you're going to wear, prepare your lunch, and keep everything in one place.  Before I go to bed, I make sure my outfit, purse, keys - whatever it is that I need that day is in one spot.  When it's time to go, I know where to find everything.  Not only does this save you time, but it keeps you sane.
  3. Slow down: This is a big one for me.  I'm always rushing, even when I don't have to.  I blame it on all the years I worked in the city but I honestly think it's in my nature.  That doesn't mean you can't train yourself to do otherwise.  Leave earlier, take a deep breath.  Do whatever it is you have to do to just take things slow.  A lot of the time we don't realize that we ourselves are the biggest reason for our stress.  No joke, I power walk for absolutely no reason.  It's good exercise but why?  I knew I had a problem when I had 20 minutes to complete a task (that wasn't even that important) and I finished it in five.  End result: it got done but it made my brain hurt for absolutely no reason.
  4. Exercise: This is another tough one for me.  I get very bored when it comes to exercise.  I do it because I have to.  I've gotten really good at sneaking in ways to do it, though.  I used to walk a lot, but now that I've started driving again that kind of got thrown out the window.  But now instead of driving my car to get coffee in the morning, I park it by the school and walk to the deli.  On the days that I do yoga, I leave my car parked by my job and I walk fifteen minutes to the yoga studio and fifteen minutes back.  Another good one: when you go to the supermarket, park all the way in the back.  It forces you to get some steps in.
  5. Get rid of clutter: This one is really common.  Most people think about the need to declutter their home.  That's important.  But what about your car, your desk at work, your email.  Unsubscribe, people!  You do not need all those emails.  When you declutter the space around you, you declutter your mind.  When I'm surrounded by mess, I feel like I'm a mess.
  6. Make cooking simple: One word: Pinterest.  Type in recipes in under thirty minutes and all of a sudden dinner is served and you have extra time to relax.  No one wants to slave away in the kitchen after a long day at work.
  7. Debt: This is a scary subject that a lot of people don't want to talk about but it causes stress.  Get rid of it and take control of your finances.  I have developed different ways to keep myself in check.  I even downloaded apps on my phone like myFico, Credit Karma, and Credit Sesame to keep track of my credit score.
  8. Have a "do nothing" day and have it often.  We sometimes choose to fill up our days because there's, not a minute to waste, right?  Wrong.  It's totally fine to stay at home and relax.  You deserve it.
  9. Sleep: Ideally eight hours.  You have no idea all the repairing your body does while you sleep.  Your mind, body, skin...everything.  You literally have to do nothing but sleep and your body works its magic.  Don't deprive yourselves of such a simple task.
  10. Learn to say no.  Aww man, this is one that I struggle with.  Sometimes its just got to get done.  Don't be a yes man.  If you can't take on another project at work, say no.  If you can't make it to brunch, say no.  If you can't help your friend move, say no.  I used to feel so guilty about saying no to people until I realized that I wasn't making myself happy by saying yes to everything, no matter how much I thought I was helping the person.  Don't spread yourself too thin.

I hope these ten ways to simplify your life help you as much as they have helped me.  You can tweak them to work for you or just come up with some of your own.  What do you do to make life simpler for yourself?

Shades of Blue + A Pop of Red

I love this basic jumpsuit that I bought at Forever 21.  My co-workers, students, and just random strangers complimented it saying how much they loved it, too.  I found that so funny being that I only bought it to have in the closet for those days that "I just can't".

FOREVER 21 JUMPSUIT (STILL AVAILABLE IN APRICOT!) | ZARA SLIDE SANDALS (SOLD OUT; SIMILAR HERE) | ZARA SCARF (SOLD OUT) | ZARA CROSS-BODY BAG (SOLD OUT; LOVE THIS ONE! | AMERICAN EAGLE THIN HOOP EARRINGS | REVLON ULTRA HD MATTE LIPCOLOR

FOREVER 21 JUMPSUIT (STILL AVAILABLE IN APRICOT!) | ZARA SLIDE SANDALS (SOLD OUT; SIMILAR HERE) | ZARA SCARF (SOLD OUT) | ZARA CROSS-BODY BAG (SOLD OUT; LOVE THIS ONE! | AMERICAN EAGLE THIN HOOP EARRINGS | REVLON ULTRA HD MATTE LIPCOLOR

So, did you notice that I'm not wearing any black?  I knooow!  Crazy, right?  A monochromatic look is a good way to keep things uniform without thinking too hard.  I added this little red cross-body bag as an unexpected pop of color against all the blue.  You don't really expect to be cold during the summer but mother nature does have her days.  A scarf is a light alternative to a jacket and doubles as a blanket when you get "the itis" after breakfast and need a nap.

Speaking of breakfast - not sure if I've mentioned this before but breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day.  I'm sure it has something to do with my mom always making a big deal about it (but more on that in another post.)  The point of me saying all of that is that you have to try this place called Antoinette's Patisserie.  It's this cozy little European-inspired cafe tucked away in the village of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.  I had an omelet that was delicious but my cousin had the french toast and it was incredible - next time I'm having that!

What do you think of this outfit?  Are you interested in seeing more monochromatic looks on the blog?  Let me know in the comments below.

"Rain, rain, go away.  Come again another day."  Oh...it just starting pouring now.  Great.  I guess rain it is then.  I yawned three times since I started writing this post.  #THISISMONDAY

Can summer not ever end?  I'm hanging on for as long as I can!

Pajama Pants

These so called "pajama pants" you see here are what I like to call my Hugh Hefner pants.  Don't ask me why - it's not like I know much about that man and his sense of fashion.  I just remember him from that one show he had on MTV and he was always home in silky pajamas.  I can't believe I just admitted to watching that stupid show but I was a teen and I swear it was only a few times. Don't judge me.  Anyway...

FOREVER 21 T-SHIRT (similar here) | ZARA PAJAMA PANTS (OLD; SIMILAR HERE AND HERE)| ZARA PEARL AND STUD SANDALS (SOLD OUT, VERY SIMILAR!) | ZARA CROSSBODY BAG (SOLD OUT; SIMILAR HERE) | LE SPEC SUNGLASSES (OLD)

More importantly, whoever made pajama pants a thing outside of the bedroom, thank you. They are everything I want and need, especially on a Monday morning.  The thing is, you don't totally want to look like you rolled out of bed.  In order to polish up the look, I tucked in my shirt, added these fun sandals and a pop of red in the form of a mini-crossbody bag.  I kept the look casual but it can easily be dressed up with a sleek bodysuit and high-heeled sandals

Do you want to know whats funny?  I've literally had these pants in my closet for over a year.  I ordered them online and when I got them they were way too long.  I was supposed to return them but time past and they just got pushed further back into my closet - until a few weeks ago when I ordered another pair of the same style pants and had the same issue.  I finally faced the fact that I couldn't avoid going to a tailor any longer.  I took both pants (and a jumpsuit I've had forever) straight to the dry cleaners to get them hemmed.  Umm...why did I take so long to do this again?

I'm so excited to finally share some outfit pictures.  I really hope you enjoyed this post - things are finally coming around.  Don't forget to tell me what you think about the pajama trend in the comments below!  Happy Monday!

I can't believe that this is the last week in July.  The weather today is very fall-like weather and I can appreciate that since the heat has been unbearable these last few days.  Even so, I'm not ready for summer to go so slow down mother nature!

This Weeks Links

Hi, guys!  I'm back with This Weeks Links.  I switched it up on you again - trying to keep you on your toes!  Haha, just kidding.

  • I have to make an effort and do more of these things
  • This shoulder bag is almost identical to a clutch that I have (you'll be seeing it soon on here).  It can easily turn into one by tucking the strap in.
  • I love these white sandals.  I just might get them!
  • There's such thing as "dry drowning" and you should be mindful of it.
  • This is a very important story to read in regards to postpartum.  I don't have any kids yet but this is something I feel strongly about.  I don't think people take seriously the things that can happen to women during and after pregnancy.
  • These salads are a much better option than the hot dogs and burgers that will be on constant rotation this summer.
  • And for the days when you need to relieve that sweet tooth - specifically when you're craving cookie dough - here are some healthier (egg-less) options.
  • Nordstrom anniversary sale is ON!  Right now its early access but its open to the public next week Friday!
  • Zara, Mango, and Massimo Dutti are also having some awesome semi-annual sales. I already bought a bunch of stuff that I can't wait to share!

Happy Wednesday!

I'm Back

So...it's been awhile, huh?  It has been an overwhelming month for me but in a good way.  Unfortunately, I needed to step away from the blog and focus on other things that needed my complete attention.  Between graduations, weddings, and everything else in between I really just wanted to focus on enjoying everything in the moment.  I'm excited to start things back up again.  I had a great last few weeks and I feel like I have so much to say but don't even know where to start.

Punta Cana, Dominicna Republic

Punta Cana, Dominicna Republic

I wanted to start the week off right - with the norm - but I promised a few people via Insta that I would share what I wore while on vacation and they've waited for me long enough.  Sorry, guys!  I actually mentioned a few of the things that I would bring with me to DR a few weeks back.  I didn't take any official blog pictures while I was there because I was only away for three days and I really wanted to enjoy it in the moment.  I will take more photos in details of each outfit but for the time being I'll share what I do have on the blog today.

The bride and groom held an all white beach party and this is what I wore.  I waited to the last minute to find an all white dress and all the ones I ordered just didn't look right.  I ended up trying Rent The Runway for the first time and settled for this Elizabeth and James LWD with a zipper detail.  More on my experience with Rent The Runway in another post!

This Slate and Willow Teal Sweetheart dress were another dress from Rent The Runway which I LOVED.  I figured since I was getting one dress from there, I should give another one a try.  My only complaint was that the straps were way too long and they were not adjustable.  I ended up having to do a quick fix at the last minute and spent the whole night fussing with the straps.  But It did look beautiful and I got lots of compliments!

This bathing suit is what got everyone's attention!  Guys, its from AMERICAN EAGLE!  I know, who would have thought?  But they have some really, really cute suits, especially one-pieces.  To say that I am obsessed is an understatement.  I can't wait to show it off more in detail.  The pattern and colors are so pretty, this photo really doesn't do it justice.  It sold out pretty quickly but they do have the same pattern but as a two-piece bathing suit that is just as cute!  I got some questions on my raffia bucket bag - it's from Zara and is now on sale!

You have seen me wear this floral maxi skirt last year.  I still love it and find any excuse to wear it.  I thought it would be the perfect bathing suit cover-up so of course, I had to bring it with me. This bathing suit is very sexy so I thought a maxi skirt would be a good way to tone it down a bit. I just have to check and see if they sell waterproof double sided tape so I don't have to worry about any mishaps!

Lastly, this romper that I LOVE is from Zara.  I bought it at random without trying it on and it turned out to fit perfectly.  Don't you love it when that happens?

I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading.  I can't wait to share some new things that I bought recently.  Stay tuned :)

Talk soon!

VACATION: WHAT I'M PACKING

Exactly 17 days from now I'll be on my way to Punta Cana!  After what I went through last summer, I am ready for some real time in the sun.  One thing I am definitely looking forward to is the beach!  I avoided it like the plague last year and if you know me, you know I love being by the water.  I keep thinking about everything I want to do.  Maybe I'll create some sort of must-do vacation list of the little things like seeing the sunrise.  Excursions are fun but I love the little moments on vacation that we tend to sometimes overlook.  Today I'm going to be sharing what I'll be taking with me.  I have a few weeks so some things might change but I just can't help myself - it's the planner in me.

1. AE ONE-PIECE CUT-OUT SWIMSUIT | 2. AE ONE-PIECE HIGH NECK SWIMSUIT | 3. STEVE MADDEN SWIZZLE LACE-UP SANDALS | 4. ZARA RAFFIA BUCKET BAG | 5. LEOPARD JERSEY PANTS 6. H&M STRAW HAT | 7. FOREVER 21 FLORAL MIX-N-MATCH PRINT DRESS | 8. FREE PEOPLE VALENCIA TURBAN | 9. ZARA BRAIDED CROSSBODY BAG WITH STUDS | 10. LEATHER SANDALS WITH METHACRYLATE HEEL | 11. MANGO EMBOSSED HOOP EARRINGS | 12. JOE FRESH SHORTS IN DARK VINTAGE

I'm still missing a few things that I have to bring (like my dress for the wedding) but for the most part I'm pretty prepared. Wish me luck fitting all of this in a carry-on because I hate checking in bags!

The Best of the Memorial Day Sales

Happy Memorial Day!  Like I mentioned in my last post, it has been a busy couple of weeks.  For the first time in awhile, I'm actually relaxing in my home with (dare I say) nothing to do.  Nothing too important at least.  So as I sit here binge watching 13 Reasons Why, I'm browsing the web for the best sales and of course sharing them with you!

Happy shopping!

This Weeks Links

Hi guys!  So, it's been about a week.  Did you miss me as much as I missed you?  The past two weeks have been really busy.  The end of the school year is coming to an end and a lot has been going on at work.  I got to enjoy the school dance and attend the senior dinner with this years graduating class.  I think back to where I was a year ago and I realize how incredibly lucky I am to have a job that doesn't feel like work because I love it so much.  This week the entire school will be running (or walking) our own version of a  5K.  How awesome is that?

  • I'm still on a pizza high from Sunday!  I went to Patsy's Pizza in Harlem and it's still hands down in my top five.  The Margherita and the Bianca pies are HEAVEN.
  • I have been the victim of this and its not okay.  The fact that society makes it to be "not a big deal" is beyond me.
  • I love infusing my water with different fruit, especially during the summer time.  Some of these combos are tried and true and others I just can't wait to try!
  • NYC newsstands are diminishing and that kind of makes me sad.
  • This bag is a must-have for vacation!
  •  I won't be surprised to see a streetstyle blogger rocking this...not sure if I could pull it off though!
  • The whole Victoria Beckham collection at Target is now on sale.  I love this orange romper
  • I love this Ivory Barcelona Nights Top so  much...
  • ...and these Espadrille Wedges
  • 25% off + FREE SHIPPING at Joe Fresh.  It ends today so hurry!  I just bought these shorts!
  • Sneakers have always been an obsession of mine but I kind of fell off when I started working in administration.  Now that I work in a more casual environment, it makes more sense to invest in more of them.  That being said, I'm really thinking about taking it wayyyyy back and getting a pair of these.
  • So, I joined a yoga studio.  Not just any yoga, though. Aerial yoga...and I love it.  We'll get more into how incredible I feel now that I've been doing it another day.  The point of me bringing that up is the fact that I now need new workout clothes.  What better way to motivate yourself then cute workout clothes?

I hope everyone is enjoying their Monday!

Still Love You Black Maxi Skirt

I've been searching for a simple black maxi skirt for what seems like forever.  I could never find one until recently while browsing through the skirts on Tobi.com.  The only minor issue was the length of the skirt, which is always an issue for me because I'm only 5'2.  I took it to the dry cleaners for a quick hem and now it fits perfect.  I love the simplicity of a black maxi skirt and I can guarantee that this skirt would be in heavy rotation all summer long.

TGIF!  I know I'm not the only one jumping for joy!

Light Blue Wrap Dress

I've been telling myself that I need to branch out of my t-shirt dresses and maxi's and buy more dresses that I can actually wear for...I don't know...a fancy dinner or something.  It's not that I don't love dressing up, it's just the opportunity to do so is so far between.  It almost never makes sense to invest in items that I can't wear on an every day (or at least once a month) basis.

Adriana Light Blue Wrap Dress | Zara Lucite Sandals | Zara Art Deco Fringe Earrings

Adriana Light Blue Wrap Dress | Zara Lucite Sandals | Zara Art Deco Fringe Earrings

Lucky for me, Tobi.com has a great selection of dresses for unbeatable prices.  When I saw this front knot wrap dress I had to have it.  Not only did I have to have it, but I had to have it in the light blue!  The dress in black was tempting and the wine color is beautiful but something in me said go for the blue.  And guys, I was right.  The color and the style of the dress are perfect.  The dress is pretty low-cut but the flowy silhouette creates a nice balance between subtle and sexy.  I didn't want to wear anything that would distract from the neck-line and knot detail so I kept it simple and wore black sandals and these fun fringe earrings.  The only thing I didn't like about the dress is how easily it wrinkled but I'm sure if I'm more cautious with the way I sit, that wouldn't be too much of a problem.

Quick funny story: I was supposed to wear this out with my cousin for our monthly "date night".  We were going to this fancy-ish restaurant in the city and I thought "wow, I finally have the perfect dress." I walked outside and quickly turned right back around.  The 75 degree weather we were haven't that day turned into a whopping 55 degrees after 6:30 pm.  I made her come inside to take these pictures and we ended up missing our reservations.  Whoops! Unfortunately, I didn't get to show off my pretty new dress but it's going to be perfect come June for my tropical trip to the Dominican Republic!

All black + Nude

So, these photos have been sitting in my timeline for God knows how long.  I totally thought I posted them but I guess it works out now that my camera hasn't been working properly and I haven't posted anything outfit related in a week.

Nothing really special about this one - just a little black and nude action going on.  All black with never get old, not for me at least.  I normally would go for black sandals or a colorful pair but for some reason I chose nude and I like it.  Definitely a color combo I will be using again.  Also, how pretty is this Anastasia Beverly Hills lip color?  It'S currently in my spring lipstick rotation so get used to seeing it on!

Happy hump day to you all!
